  • Reigate and Redhill Festival Results

    The Hawthorns took over the Reigate and Redhill Festival last weekend. We had over 100 entries from 50 guitarists and eight other musicians. We performed to large audiences in St Matthew’s Church on both days. Most students performed a solo and a number of ensemble pieces ranging from duets to guitar orchestras. The talented musicians performed confidently and worked hard for their audience.

  • Laura Snowden, Lunchtime Recital - St Matthew's Church, Redhill

    Laura will be performing at 1.10 on Thursday 15th April in St Matthew's Church, Redhill.

    Laura is a graduate from the Menuhin School and is currently in her second year at the Royal College of Music. This is a fantastic opportunity to hear her perform in her duo. 

  • John Mills Recital - 7th April - Beechwood School, Tunbridge Wells

    John Mills is one of the country's most respected classical guitarists. He studied with Andres Segovia and John Williams. He is head of guitar at the Welsh College of Music and a professor at the Royal Academy of Music.

  • Lower School Concert

    Well done to all the students who performed in the Lower School concert last week. It is great that you could all get up and have so much fun on stage. The parents and staff were treated to a fantastic afternoon of music.
