Introduction
This section is to help you find out more about a small number of the classical guitarists. I have been very selective, favouring guitarists who play locally, or who have particulary good websites.
Richard Durrant
Richard Durrant is our local classical guitar hero. He plays locally several times a year. Any of my students would enjoy his lively and inspiring perfromances. I would love you to see him.
Gary Ryan
Gary Ryan is our Reigate and Redhill adjudicator this year. He has written a great deal of music for guitarists of all levels. You can hear his recordings on his website.
VIDA Guitar Quartet
VIDA Quartet With my love for ensemble music, i wanted to include at least one group in my list. VIDA are the Eden-Stell Duo, plus Mark Ashford and Helen Sanderson. They are a fantastic group, and great fun to watch. You will also be able to find your way onto the individual group members' sites from this page.
